Environmental Site Assessments
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) are non-intrusive site investigations designed to assess the environmental condition of your site/building(s).
During our ESAs we’ll conduct a historical review, perform a site visit and engage in personal interviews.
We specialize in the following ESAs:
- Initial environmental siting / routing / consulting with regulatory parties
- Baseline vegetation, soil, contour and groundwater including regulatory approval support
- Enhanced approval process assessments
- Stakeholder engagement assessments, including Indigenous engagement
- Wetland and biophysical classification and evaluation
- Vegetation and wildlife surveys
Regulatory Approvals
GCL professionals with regulatory experience will lead and guide submissions through each stage of the regulatory approval process.
Applications and submissions are prepared to satisfy the regulatory requirements in Western Canada. GCL has extensive experience with regulators in Alberta and Saskatchewan and a support network to assist with other provinces.
