With the Christmas Season Drawing near, the GCLs team became united in contribution to organizations in need. Connected to some fun Christmas events in the Edmonton and Calgary areas, GCL is incredibly proud of its team for supporting community programs. We start this season of giving with local food banks.
With the gracious efforts of GCL and partnership sponsors such as HSE Integrated (Safety), and Rig Hand Distillery – we raised a monumental 13887 lbs of food through food/cash donations for local food banks. Select members of our team were also blessed to experience a foodbank tour and learned so much about this caring organization.
Local charitable organizations have been struggling with an increased demand caused by inflation and the rise in the cost of living. So more families are turning to food banks, and 1 in 4 people have said they may rely on charities for their basic necessities.
